In March of 2004, our family experienced a tremendous loss with the disappearance and murder of my 20 y.o. niece, Rachelle.  While Rachelle was missing, the outpour of support & help came not only from our community but also from several other surrounding communities, people from all over Texas and across the country.  It amazed us then, and still does, the number of people that poured into our area to help search for Rachelle.  Money and food came from all over the country from individuals and organizations just wanting to do what they could to help with the search, donate towards a reward fund and feed our family and the thousands helping in the search.  People came by the thousands to help search for Rachelle.  The love and support is still felt.  Our family is forever in debt to all those that helped physically, monetarily and through faith.  The prayers flowed in from around the globe!  The loss of Rachelle was devastating to our family and the many people whose lives she touched and changed forever, including her then 6 month old daughter who will never personally know her Mommy – well until she gets to Heaven herself one day anyway.

    1 Corinthians 13:13 says “Three things will last forever – faith, hope and love – and the greatest of these is love.”  It was these three things, pouring in from everywhere, that pulled our family up off the ground and gave us the faith, hope and love we needed to go forward with our lives while missing Rachelle terribly.  Without these things, we could not have made it through.

    Then, with all the love I felt in my heart, I began to wonder how I could ever begin to repay society for the help we received.  I also felt for a very long time that I had another purpose to be here, that much of my time could be better spent.  It was then that United Angels of Hope was born in my mind.  This is my purpose.  It has been a dream of mine since.

    It is United Angels of Hope’s purpose to help others in need of faith, hope & love.  We will extend this through several different avenues – Donations to needy charities & organizations, Christian Fellowship, Bible Study, Prayer Requests for those in need, Daily Inspiration (favorite Bible verses & favorite Christian music from guests), Bible Verse of the Day, the Angel Store online where you can buy Christian gifts with the profits being donated to the Charity of the Month, and last but not least the Angel Forum where guests can share inspirational stories of their own, messages of hope, fellowship, poetry, etc.  

    United Angels of Hope will be a non profit 501c3 organization funded by charitable donations, fundraisers and through the Angel Store.  I am hoping, with the help of all my friends and family, that we can make many dreams come true, not just mine, but for many that need help finding faith, love and especially HOPE to help them through difficult times.

    The website is not completely finished at this time.  It is ready for visitors though and to be shared with others.  Please feel free to send suggestions or ideas for the site to me.  I am currently working on the registration of the non profit & setting up the Angel Store.  Most pages are ready for guests.  Please share this website with friends, family, coworkers or anyone you believe may be in need of inspiration, getting more in touch with God’s word themselves or interested in being an Angel of Hope to others in need.

    Life can be very challenging.  From time to time, we all need an Angel!  My dream is that United Angels of Hope will receive the resources to reach out and do the Good Will it is intended to do for others who need our help.  I know personally what it is like to need an Angel.  Won’t you help those needing one too?
