Verse of the Day - Saturday, January 28th, 2012
Since God chose you to be the holy people He loves, you must clothe yourselves with
tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience.  Make allowance for
each other's faults, and forgive anyone who offends you.  Remember, the LORD forgave you,
so you must forgive others. - Colossians 3:12-13

    Keep your heart open to those you encounter.  We have a tendency to let our heart slam shut like
a heavy door when we get offended, hurt or see fault in those we are around.  We must keep that door
to our heart open.  Pry it back open if you have to but get it open.  Then place a stick or wedge in
there so it can't close again.  Let that wedge be God's love & mercy.  The same love & mercy will
hold doors open for you when your mistakes or our faults rise up.  Don't wait another day.

Are You Ready?
There are signs all around us that time is drawing near for our Lord's 1,000 year reign on earth.  But before this can happen, and with the sound of a trump, all Christians will be raptured.  In the blink of an eye every Christian on earth will vanish.  We will have been called up by the Lord and removed from the earth before having to endure the tribulation period mentioned in the book of Revelations.

Will you be ready when the trump sounds?  Are you ready now?  Have you prayed and accepted Jesus as your Savior?  If not, do not hesitate.  You do not want to be one of the many Left Behind to suffer the tribulation.

The Bible does not say exactly when this will happen, but it does say to keep looking up and watching for the signs.  The pieces are coming together faster now than ever in history.  Many Christians believe it will occur in our lifetime.  Please don't be one of those that is fooled and turn your head away from whats going on around you.

Even by some slim chance that it doesn't happen in our lifetime, wouldn't you rather be safe than sorry?  I know I would.  So, be prepared, watch for the signs and don't let yourself be fooled and left behind.
